Sports and Family Fun Day

On Sunday 13^th June The Multisports Club in Aloha Gardens hosted a Sports and Family Fun Day on behalf of The Foundation of Friends.  The event was a great success despite the wet and windy start.  A full programme of games and sports kept everybody running until 8pm.

Both children and parents took part in a variety of activities such as penalty shoot outs, basket shoot outs and beat the tennis pro with the event ending with a very energetic five a side football match with teams made up of parents and children.

Following this event The Foundation of Friends will make a donation of the money raised to CRECE, a small charity in Marbella for children with Downs Syndrome and other forms of disability.

Ian Lockyer from The Multisports Club said “it was great bringing everyone together through sport to raise money for such a great cause”.

The Foundation of Friends would like to thank all their friends and supporters who helped to make this event such a success.
